Why did you decide to get involved in research? To improve our current practice and better patient outcomes
Who encouraged you to get involved in research and who do you go to for advice when you need it? A small study that was done in a similar practice where I could see we could benefit from an improvement in practice
What sort of activities/studies have you been involved in? (e.g. data collection, planning, supportive care/clinical research) Study planning and design, data collection and analysis, testing of exposures and equipment
What do you enjoy most about being involved in this/these research activities? Chance to improve practice and develop new skills within myself
What has been your biggest challenge or barrier to being involved in research? Time, knowledge and help and support from others
What one piece of advice would you give other researchers who have never been involved in research before? Seek like minded individuals and involve others to help improve your study design and questions to be answered etc
